The Wakefield Rotary Club of Wake Forest invites those interested in joining a service organization to a Get to Know Rotary breakfast on Thursday, March 23, 7:45 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. at Heritage Club, 1250 Heritage Club Avenue in Wake Forest. The club is buying breakfast for those interested in joining Rotary.
Wakefield Rotary club is a community service organization made up of individuals who value Service Above Self. Chartered in 2009, the club is a voluntary organization of diverse individuals in business, government, non-profit and community groups united to provide humanitarian service in the community, state, country and world.
“Our Wakefield Rotary club offers members friendship and community service opportunities with like-minded professionals,” said Wakefield Rotary Club of Wake Forest President Angela Jamison. “Our Get to Know Rotary free breakfast is an event to show those interested in joining our organization ways we create positive change in Northern Wake County and beyond.”
The March 23rd breakfast will feature speaker Ken Morgan, who has served on the board of directors for Rotary International and is very involved in his Chapel Hill Rotary club as well as the community. Wakefield Rotarian of the Year Laura Jazab, a past president of the club, will highlight the service projects members are involved in throughout the community.
